Much of my inspiration and passion for architecture comes from my father, also known as Jack to many. He owned a small firm in rural Ohio and had been accustomed to the classic brick and masonry type construction for small commercial design and a colonial style /farm house feel for his many years of residential practice. It likely echoed his passion for history, more directly his knowledge of The American Civil War era. Serving on many  community boards such as the local Township Zoning Committees and Rotary Club activities, you could always find the sounds of classical music coming from his home or office drafting studio. He graduated from Kent State University in the early 1970's with his degree in architecture and worked for large firms in the greater mid west before establishing his own firm in his later years. Father of two boys, husband, and respected community member, he passed passed away in 2004 leaving his sons, siblings and mother at the early age of 59.
